Film Screening, ‘Milli’s Awakening’
Film Screening and Q and A with black Germany filmmaker Natasha Kelly afterward. Milli’s Awakening (2018) brings together the voices of eight Black German women of different generations. Through their artistic practices they have defined self-determined positions within white German mainstream society. The film reflects the diversity and interwoven nature of these (hi)stories. This talk is organized by Priscilla Layne in the Department of Germanic and Slavic Languages and Literatures.

Graduate Programs in International Affairs Info Session
Come attend an information session about graduate programs in international affairs and meet representatives from Columbia University’s School of International & Public Affairs, Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, Johns Hopkins University’s Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies and Tufts University’s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. The format for the information session will include a five-minute presentation by each admissions representative about the distinctive characteristics of each program and a group question and answer session with prospective students.
