Careers in National Security Alumni Panel

As part of Diplomacy Week, join this panel discussion on careers in national security featuring alumni Ned Kelly ’05 and Matt Hasty ’04 of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). Both are Senior Intelligence Officers with experience that spans intelligence agencies and geographic regions. 

They’ll share insights on the role intelligence plays in the U.S. government, what the DIA does and a day in the life of an analyst, their career paths, and advice on honing your skills and leveraging your Carolina experience. 

The panel is moderated by Erinn Whitaker, Professor of the Practice for the Peace, War and Defense Curriculum, who is a former senior analyst for the CIA and the State Department.
