Join UNC Research and UNC Global Affairs with special guests from Queen’s University Belfast to discuss the UK and EU research funding landscapes, keys to successful international collaboration, and tales from the front lines.

• EU Horizon funding (budget of £85billion over 7 years) – UK researchers will again have access from January 2024. Learn what this means for UK universities, including Queen’s University Belfast, and the partner opportunities it provides to UNC faculty to access these funds.
• US-Ireland R&D Partnership Program – A unique funding opportunity involving three jurisdictions: the U.S., Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Learn about the seven thematic focus areas of the program and advice on securing funding for collaboration.
