Duke-UNC Rotary Peace Center Spring Conference

Please join us on Saturday, April 6th for the Duke-UNC Rotary Peace Center’s 21st Annual Spring Conference. Our theme this year will be “From Self to Society: Envisioning Our Relationship to Peace”. Class 21 Rotary Peace Fellows will present their research, exploring new ways of thinking about peacebuilding, international development, and conflict transformation in many regions of the world.
The conference will take place at the FedEx Global Education Center on UNC-Chapel Hill’s campus from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Doors will open at 8:00am for those who wish to check-in early or enjoy coffee and a muffin. Lunch and other refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
Can’t attend in person? We offer a livestream and Zoom webinar for those who would like to participate in our conference remotely. Those that register here to attend virtually will receive a link and instructions on how to attend in advance of the conference.

REGISTRATION FEES
Our early bird registration fee this year for in-person attendance is $40.00 (USD) and will run until 11:59pm (EST), Saturday, March 9. Those registering after this date as well as at the door will pay a $50.00 registration fee. There is no fee for those who would like to attend virtually.
TICKETING AND NAME TAGS (IN-PERSON ATTENDEES ONLY)
We request that everyone register for this event. Please note that you will NOT need to present a copy of your registration to gain access to the event. We will have pre-printed name tags at registration for all registered, in-person attendees.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Parking will be available for free in the McCauley Parking Deck, located underneath the FedEx Global Education Center. The entrance to the deck is on Pharmacy Lane – you can take the elevator from parking straight to registration on the first floor.
Online registration closes on Friday, March 29 at 5:00pm EST.
