Played a critical role in GE Aviation’s response to and recovery from the unprecedented impacts of COVID-19 and 737-MAX grounding as Vice President and General Counsel until mid-2021. Enhanced GE’s growth in emerging Sub-Saharan Africa markets while living in Kenya as General Counsel of GE Africa and Senior Vice President of GE International, Inc. Navigated complex cultural, risk, and regulatory differences across 20+ countries and built a dynamic, all-local team to drive sustainable business growth in SSA. As General Counsel of GE Capital Real Estate for more than a decade, led numerous M&A, portfolio acquisition, and financings that doubled the size of GE Capital’s commercial real estate portfolio to $98B. Helped guide the business through the financial crisis and subsequent disposition and wind-down. Transitioned to GE after helping lead King & Spalding’s entry into the New York City market.
