Lana Bridges Phillips

Lana Phillips graduated from UNC in 1995 with a degree in Psychology and received her Juris Doctor degree in 2001 from American University Washington College of Law. Lana began her legal career as a tax attorney in New York City, and later started her own real estate development company based in Florida. She currently splits her time between New York and Florida’s gulf coast. Having lived in Egypt as a child, and now traveling extensively around the world with her husband and three children, Mrs. Phillips strongly believes that a comprehensive education includes international exposure and collaboration. Her current international charitable endeavors include Give Her a Chance, an organization in Niger focused on ending child marriage, and also assisting Bishop Emeritus Macram Max Gassis of the El Obeid Diocese in Sudan. Her support of the Summer Bridge program at UNC keeps her connected to the university, and she looks forward to engaging with Bridge students and study abroad in a post-Covid world.
