Parker is co-chairman of Global Mergers and Acquisitions in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs. He serves on the firm’s Partnership Committee. Parker joined Goldman Sachs as a partner in 2014. Prior to joining the firm, Parker was chairman and head of Global M&A at both Barclays and Lehman Brothers. He served on the Executive Committee for the Investment Banking Division of both companies and on the Americas Management Committee for Barclays Group. Parker led both franchises to top five global mergers and acquisitions rankings. He has more than 30 years of mergers and acquisitions banking experience across multiple sectors and geographies and has advised companies on over $1 trillion in mergers and acquisitions transactions, including numerous industry transforming deals.

Parker earned a Master of Business Administration, with distinction, from Harvard Business School, where he serves on the Board of Dean’s Advisors. He graduated with a bachelor’s in international studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he serves on the Board of Visitors.
